The Postal Shame Revival is a Southern gospel body of work. It is concerned with postage, authenticity, provenance, suspicion, discounted postage, public warnings, institutional certainty, and the promise printed on the paper.

A stamp may be questioned without having been tested. A price or a source may raise a concern without completing an authentication. Arrival does not settle the matter. The stamp does not carry its purchase history.
